The Lights have returned to their original place on
our eastern horizon. However, tonight was great!
We took several photos of two Lights exiting the
top of the Orphan (mountain closest to us). One
Light actually exited the top backside of the
Orphan, then spiraled to the front side (our side)
and down the Orphan until it disappeared into the
Orphan at its base. The other Light continued on
a southerly course until it disappeared into the
A third Light showed and moved across our
eastern sky until it, too, disappeared.
All-in-all, it was a great night for photographing
the Deming Lights…

Few Lights tonight, however, the Lights are
acting very strangely.
Lately, some of the Lights are showing up to
our Northeast, when usually, they show to
Tonight they showed to both our East and
Northeast. The Lights tonight blinked on
and off as if sending Morse code. The
Light to our Northeast is very hard to
photograph as it blinks in and out very
quickly. The Light to our East was just
a wee bit slower.
Here they are…

Here are the latest Deming Lights. For some
reason, the Lights showed to our northeast,
instead of the regular east direction.
Notice the comparison photo of the airplane
as compared to the other Light.

A great night for Light watching!
Photos 20, 21 & 23, were strange indeed!
Ann noticed a Light heading in our direction (east to west)
right at us. Actually, the Light passed at a very low altitude and
just to our north. The Light was extremely fast and completely
silent. It was so fast I could only get a few pictures of it.
Photos 28 & 29 are of a ground light to our southeast
about 5-10 miles. The Light sure made some strange shapes.

We only saw and photographed two Lights
tonight. However, they both showed at the same
time. At least, they haven't deserted us. We still
find them VERY interesting…
The web site is up and running again!! It gave us a
scare there for a bit.

After a drought of Lights since Monday, January 23, 2006,
the Lights are BACK!
We photographed six Lights tonight. They all looked
very different from past Lights. A couple of the Lights
really moved quickly and some just moved along easily.
One Light just seemed to stay above the others, and was
dimmer compared to the other Lights. If you look
carefully, you'll see the dimmer Light is in most of the
shots we took.
